Manav has over 13 years of experience in ECA supported financing at HSBC. He has a wide range of experience, working on transactions in the industrial, power generation, renewable energy, oil & gas, petrochemicals, real estate, and telecommunications industries, across the MENA and APAC regions.
He is currently working on some of the most ambitious ECA programmes globally including a $6 bn+ financing for a hydrocarbons project in the GCC, various power projects in North Africa, several property development projects in the UAE and various projects across the region in the transportation sector
Manav joined HSBC in 2003 and worked on the Middle East and North Africa Export finance team based in London from 2004 to 2009. During this period, he worked on various landmark ECA supported transactions for leading corporate borrowers in the region including SEC, DEWA, and ALBA as well as on Project Finance transactions including Saudi Kayan, Dolphin, and Al-Dur IWPP. He was based in Mumbai from 2009 to 2013 and in Hong Kong until September 2014 where he had regional responsibility for the ECA finance business in Australia, New Zealand, India, and Malaysia. He relocated to Dubai in September 2014 to assume his current role.
